base won't open - no java installation

I am trying to open a base file I have used for years. The error says I need a jre installation and restart Libreoffice. I havre installed the latest version of java, but I get the same error

Please insure the correct version of Java is installed and the LO settings are correct. All that is in my answer in this post.
