Batch file, or some other sort of script, for automatically modifying settings on a Windows based installation of LibreOffice?

Hey there everyone. I’ve got a somewhat complex question. Let me start with a little backstory.

I service computers in a PC repair shop and we distribute LibreOffice to our customers if they desire it. We do, however, like to change the document types to the most recent Windows file extensions by default, a process that, while not time consuming, can be a little annoying.

I’m wondering, is there a reg file or some sort of script we could make or get that would be able to automatically set these settings without having to go into the program and manually set them every time?
