I launched LO one day, and the horizontal and vertical rulers are gone. I looked in Tools - Options, but cannot find a way to restore them.
Okay, I found another post with the same problem, and the answer is NOT in “Tools - Options - Libre Office Writer - View.” The answer is in the menu: “View - Rulers (click on the word Rulers to turn them on or off).” I thought this was a program setting (deep in the options), not a user choice (quickly accessed). Wouldn’t it be nice if the numbering options (whether tab or space, etc.) were so easily changed!
