Bottom half of table only visible in web view, or as "ghost"

I am using a template I downloaded to build my CV on LibreOffice write. The fields are organised as nested tables.

When the table goes off the page, the contents beyond the first page disappear, and only a blank white second page shows. However, in web view, the hidden information is visible, and also if I do Select All in normal view, I can see that I have selected the fields on the second page (they appear as gray, but without visible content).

I have Googled about this (which is how I found out about web view) and have tried changing the text flow properties, but to no avail.

I attach a screenshot of the “ghost” cells when I have selected all.

From where did you download the template?
Was it an ODT file?
Which operating system and LibreOffice version are you using?
In which file format do you save?

And please upload here a reduced and anonymized file where the problem is present. Thank you.

That looks like the table comes from an DOC(X), where tables may be floating (that is impossible in Writer, and on import, such tables are put inside floating frames, which can’t re-flow to following pages).

In ~recent LibreOffice versions, such tables should offer you an option to “un-float” them - selecting the frame, like here:

@Hrbrgr @mikekaganski Thank you for your answers. It was an odt file, but I think you’re right about it being docx originally, as when I saved as docx in LibreOffice, the whole page became visible. For completeness, I attach the template here. But I think this is now solved, thank you! Should I edit the title to say so?

The error I had can be duplicated by hitting enter several times in any cells on the right.
