I have a document that has several sections using outlining. The Bullets and Numbering toolbar does not pop up when I click within an outline. I have to manually pull it up using View - Toolbars.
The toolbar disappears when I leave the outline which I believe is incorrect operation. I saw in the docs that the toolbar should stay visible when using this method.
I am using version 25.2.4.3 in Windows 10 Pro.
Are your toolbars “locked”? Is View>Toolbars>Lock Toolbars ticked?
Hello ajlittoz, Yes, it is ticked. Even if it was not, the toolbar should re-appear when I place the cursor within an outline.
There may be something weird in your document. Attach a reduced sample file still exhibiting the issue.
That seems wrong.
The same with me: Version: 24.8.7.2 on Windows 10.
Following @PKG comment, I can suggest to create a clone of the Bullets and Numbering toolbar.
