In Excel the active cell border colour automatically changes to contrast against whatever colour the active cell background is. Any way to get Calc to do this?. I’ve searched through the options but can’t find anything. Running on Manjaro Linux with LO 126.96.36.199.
Menu/Tools/LibreOffice calc/View - Visual aids - Grid lines - Show on colored cells.
Thanks for the suggestion - but I have gridlines for the page turned off. For me the ‘show gridlines on coloured cells’ doesn’t seem to do anything. If I set a group of cells to have a black background then nothing shows up when the active cell is in that area. Only by turning gridlines on for the entire sheet can I see where I am.
I see, sorry but I don’t know any solution, maybe with macros could be possible assign a different color border to the selected cell.
