CALC and LO Crash and/or Stop Responding - LO 24.2.6.2 and 28.8.0.3

I use CALC to catalog my DVD/BlueRay collection. I have approximately 9340 Rows in one sheet and 8700 in another. When I do a “spell check” LO will either stop responding, OR the dictionary will completely disappear (by ROW 6761 (see attached picture)). The Spell feature will not recover even if I “add” a dictionary.

I am using Win10 Pro, Intel i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz, 64 GB RAM.
I did a custom install to drive D.

I just sent another crash report for 24262.

Afterwards, I was playing about with my file, when LO updated again to 28803.
Now, the Spell Checker dialog box will be non-functional if I high light a cell that I had previously check (see screenshot 5).
Then, if I close Spell Checker, and re-open it after positioning it over an uncheck cell, it will perform.

With large documents, it is “normal” for the spell checker to report “No feedback”.
However, this message disappears again after a short time.
If this is not the case for you, you should check which of the checks you are performing:

I’m sorry Hrbrgr, I have been fighting this program for the last several days. It does not appear to save much of what I “add to dictionary”.

Also, I do not understand your last sentence.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
