I have a file that I’ve been saving in .xls format that is now asking for filtering before opening. I have tried several of the options but I either get a bunch of characters (giberish) or I get an ‘input/output error’. I am running Mint 12 and I have tried it on a Win7 machine with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
