In Calc… I want to set my default Comment Font as ARIAL, BOLD, 12 point.
it’s hard coded. You can’t change default Comment font to your own now
Yes… and thanks… but I’d hope someone would know how to set that variable as it’s open sourced.
Thanks for the reply…
You can change the font using the Font Replacement Table in Options.
Options > LibreOffice > Fonts > Replacement Table
Check the box for Apply replacement table
Then select the Font
to replace and select Replace with
for the new font.
The original font is Liberation Sans.
So if you replace that font with Arial it will change the Comments font.
Note that this will change the font everywhere.
If you want Arial as your default everywhere this will work great.
But I do not know any way to change the default font size for Comments.
.
UDaMan… I scrolled to a cell with a comment… then hi-lited the text of the comment.
I observed that what font appeared in the upper left font select box in the ribbon.
I then followed your instructions to add a rule to replace that font with Arial Bold.
Every comment font now shows exactly what I wanted… Arial Bold and 9 point.
I can see the giant print very well… thanks for the great advice… LIC -bro.ßilly
