[Calc] Conditional formatting disappearing when saving as .xlsx

I’m running LibO 5.3.4.2 on Windows 10 Home, version 1803, OS build 17134.48. When editing a document with the .xlsx file extension, if I apply conditional formatting to a range of cells, save the file, exit, and re-open the file, the conditional formatting has completely disappeared.

When saving the document in .ods format, it’s fine upon saving, exiting, and re-opening.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it only an issue with .xlsx, or is it anything non-native to LibO? Do you know of any fixes? I’m one of the only people in my company who uses LibO, and it’s annoying to not have that compatibility with .xlsx files.

Thanks.

try update your version of LibreOffice to 5.4.7 or 6.0.4

I tried create conditional formatting for range, saved to XLSX, re-opened - works fine (for Icon Set). My version is 6.0.4

Yes, I’m having the same issue. I’m using Windoze 10 and Libre Office Version: 6.1.3.2 (x64)
Build ID: 86daf60bf00efa86ad547e59e09d6bb77c699acb
CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group threaded

This is a really annoying bug as well since I have to save in MS Office compatible files. Anyone who may know a solution, please chime in.

Have you filed a bug report with a sample ODS which looses conditional formatting upon saving as XLSX?

I have the same in LO Version: 6.3.6.2 on MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 (19E287)

That is not an answer. Can you post it as a comment, please?

Some conditional formulas work when you save in .xls instead of .xlsx to share with non-libs.
