CALC Date changes format when sorted

When sorting, the date changes from;
26. Mar. 2022
to;
Mar26,2022
and the formula in the next column doesn’t work.

I have tried to format the column and re-format it.
The other sheet works just great ! ?

Have I changed something on this sheet ?

Thanks, as always,
⌡im

If you are sorting a column that may not exclusively contain equally formated dates, the Options tab of the sorting dialog is relevant. Wanting to get cell contents formatted unchanged can then require to enable the option Include formats there.
Concerning formulas in different columns any problem can depend on whether these coumns were included in the sorted range, and if there are references into the sorted range. There is a globlal (document-wide) option under
>Tools>Options>LibreOffice Calc>General>>Input Settings>>Update references when sorting range of cells
I generally would suggest to not enable that option, but you may expect the results in a different way. “…and the formula in the next column doesn’t work” isn’t providing any useful information insofar.

for Libre Office.ods (156.0 KB)

Looks like your 26Mar… is just text. Just go back and replace those dates with your local date entry style. For US, for example 3/26/2022. After that it works on your sample ODS, at least.

…Use the View - Value Highlighting feature to check the data types: Textual (temporarly will be black character color), Numeric (blue; like the real dates) and Formulas (green).
