CALC - Drag'n'Drop moves to incorrect destination cell

LO 24.8.4.2 (X86_64), Windows 11

When dragging a selected cell or cells, the destination cell(s) jumps several extra rows down and several columns over from the intended destination, and not where the cursor is.

For example, I select A:1, click and hold, to drag it to A:2.
Anywhere I drag the cursor, the cell I selected and its contents appear in, say, G:9, and moves along relative to the cursor as if I were pointing over there.

This has suddenly started after a forced restart (possibly a Windows update.) I have tried with several existing documents and with new sheets, after restarting both Calc and Windows itself.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated, as I am currently having to correct many cells in a large sheet that got scrambled before I realized this was happening.

Safe Mode ?

That fixed my issue, thanks. I restarted to Safe Mode and tested it, and it worked, then restarted normally and it was resolved.

#-_-# You’d think that after having used every version of Windows, I would have done that without even thinking about it! Thanks again, Pierre.
