Calc formula result showing zero as a minus figure

I’ve recently switched to Libre from Open Office and have noticed that, where a Calc formula results in a figure of £0.00, it is shown as -£0.00. Is there any setting available which I can apply to all my Calc worksheets to prevent zeros from appearing in this manner? I know there are manual format codes I could use but I just wondered whether there was anything I could apply as a global setting.

At first check, if your result is really =0 or some very small value only rounded to -0. If this is the cause maybe round or truncate the value…

There is Tools > Options > LibreOffice Calc > Calculate > Precision as shown

Thanks for the suggestion Wanderer. The formula should result in exactly £0.00 because the figures inputted are all in precise amounts of currency. On closer inspection, however, if the formula result is expanded to 12 decimal places it starts to show an amount - so I have a tiny negative number. I understand that this is something to do with conversion to binary and back to decimal but it’s not an issue I’ve found with Open Office (which was causing other issues with my new desktop!) So is truncation a formatting option or something I need to build into the formula? Is there any other way of ensuring that a formula gives the precise result?

Thanks for this Earnest. I did see this option I do have some entries which are entered to three decimal spaces but which are displayed to the nearest two. So, the cumulative effect of totalling could produce the wrong amount.
