Calc Hangs during Save

Recent install of 7.2.1.2 Portable on Win 10. Saving/auto save works for awhile, but it will eventually hang on either operation. When this happens, I notice disk i/o on my C drive maxing out write activity. It’s consuming multiple GB/minute of free space, and it’s also eating up memory. Can’t seem to find what it’s writing to. I wait for several minutes, but it never finishes whatever it’s doing. I have to kill the process to recover. The calc file I’m working with is on the local C drive,

Disabled ‘load printer’ setting and the ‘printer metrics’ as suggested; no change. Restarted in Safe Mode seems to alleviate the problem.

Backup first

If it works in safe mode, you need to go back to factory settings ||or|| reset your user profile.

Ok, thanks for the links. I reset to factory after backing up. My templates and stuff are still there, so maybe it didn’t quite do what I expected it to. I’ll do some more testing; the wiki article looks like it has several steps to try.
