I recently downloaded LibraOffice Calculator spreadsheet into my computer. It involves a game show I’ve created and it has a randomizer, but for some reason it does not work. A couple of people I have talked to told me it’s either F9 or Control, Shift and F9, but they do not work on my WIndows 8,1. I also have a Dell computer…Is there anything else I can do?
Go to Data → Calculate → Recalculate. The hotkey for this is F9
on my machine.
If that does not work, start with a new spreadsheet. Enter =RAND()
and see if recalculating changes the value.

F9 only shows as the Search on my computer. Do I have push another button or buttons before F9?
What key combination does it say next to Data → Calculate → Recalculate? Alternatively, search for function Recalculate
under Tools → Customize → Keyboard to see if it is set to a key.
It says F9 and it says F9 involving the function Recalculate…but it still does not work. Everytime I bring up the file and push F9, the Search function comes up.
Perhaps you need to reset the profile, or you have a keyboarding solution set up on your operating system to type in a different language, or something like AutoHotkey is interfering.
