calc how do I enter text above a table

I want to put lines of text spreading across the width of the table - spanning several columns - but wrapping.
If I wrap it now it is all concentrating on one cell. How can get it to spread over the whole table and wraps at the end of the page ?

Thanks! You are right. I didn’t check the tags at all. This on me!
Concerning the “merging” of cells the help should tell enough.
It should. But it still mentions “merging into a single cell” despite the fact that only the areas are merged, and the cells made invisible this way still exist.
Anyway I will delete my improper answer.
