I have a large, old spreadsheet (7000 or so rows over several tabs, been updating the sheet since the 90s). Is has numerous references to cells in another sheet in a different .ods file. Occasionally, after opening the spreadsheet and updating the external references, some of the cells get #VALUE instead of the right data. So far, even after saving, the spreadsheet gets the external file references right when I open it a second time. This seems to happen only when the external .ods file is not open on my desktop. Calc has been doing this at least a year.
Anyone else seeing this? It has only been a slight nuisance until now but I am a little worried my spreadsheet might get wrecked in the future. Over time, I have reentered all the external references at least once but this doesn’t seem to help.
