We’ve just added an Epson XP-600 to our home office and printing spreadsheets from LibreOffice 4.1.1 Calc no longer works - printing of cell borders is inconsistent, some borders it prints and others not. Printing still works perfectly on the older printer, an Epson Stylus DX7450, printing also works with the XP-600 on all other programs e.g. Apache OpenOffice which, incidentally, isn’t installed simultaneously with LibreOffice on the same machine. LibreOffice 4.1.x is currently intended for users that would like to test thing out and would like to see new features.
In companies in my humble opinion you should be using LibreOffice 4.0.x. Don’t know if this is going to fix your problem, but you started at the wrong end (installing latest 4.1.x version).
I suggest to download LibreOffice 4.0.5 from: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ and test. If the problem is fixed then report a bug to bugtracker and add [REGRESSION] tag to bug title.
