I’m only using Calc. Is there a way to go right to Calc and bypassing Impress???
I usually open an .ods and I was never sent to Impress.
.
I also dragged the Calc-Icon in Windows from start-menu to the task-bar. This starts Calc directly in Windows. Details vary for this in different OS or desktop environments.
.
?? Could there be a wrong initial template stored for Calc?
.
How do you open LibreOffice?
There are also command-line options like --calc to direct to a module. You could either use this or check, if your system hides a direction to Impress.
.
Last idea would be a reset of user-profile (after backup). But that is a blind shot…
# Open calc directly.
# Use the features of your desktop to create a link/desktop icon.
