Calculate a future date from number of weeks or days from specified date

I’m sure this should be easy, but I just can’t figure it out. My old man brain isn’t as nimble as it used to be.

I have a date in one cell of my spreadsheet. On another cell I’d like to display the date which will be 5 weeks, (or alternately, 35 days), from the original date. When someone solves this for me I just know I’m going to slap myself.

First format your origin cell and receiving cell as a date field.
To get the computed date reference the origin cell and add 35.
Assuming the origin cell is A1, place in cell B1 the following equation: =a1 + 35

Yup, there it is. My head-slap moment. I was absurdly over-thinking the function. Thank you for the solution and for not mocking me!
