Can I eliminate all the blank space at the top of an Impress page?

There is about half a page worth blank space at the top of every Impress document I’ve been working with. Any way to get rid of this?

p.s. The space gets smaller the larger the zoomed view, but I don’t need everything to be at 300+ zoom level.
