Can I format a multi-line bibliography entry

The existing bibliography entry (bibliography table->Edit Index->Entries) only allows a single line to be defined for a table entry. Can I insert a new page to make this a multi-line entry?

For example:
change: 1: text, publisher
to: 2: text
publisher

Not directly because you have no line break “descriptor” in the structure line. However, you can outsmart Writer.

  1. Select the type corresponding to your bibliography entry
  2. Click in the literal text box between two “descriptors” like Au and Ti
This literal text box frequently contains a comma and a space
  3. Press Tab Stop and set stop position far beyond page width, e.g. 20cm

Optionally, customise Bibliography 1 paragraph style to create an hanging indent (e.g. Before text 1cm and First line indent -1cm so that you have a visual clue about entry continuation on next line.

You can play the trick several times to spread your entry on more lines.

PS: when posting here, always mention OS name, LO version and save format.

Thanks @ajlittoz Yeah, I forgot the version and OS. I will absolutely try to do that but at my age I can guarantee an abrupt distinction between ‘try’ and ‘remember’.

Never mind. I found it in your other question.
