Can I pass data to a PDF Form wthout user input

Hi, I have Checklists in PDF forms (FDF) for servicing medical equipment that technicians have to complete on site. Is there a way I can pre-load the equipment Model and Serial number into the Form before the Technician opens it?

I am using LibreOffice Cal to create the Checklists.

If you use the hybrid PDF format, then you can edit the PDF as an ODF document, and the Technician can read it as a PDF.

A hybrid PDF can contain two versions of the document.
