This is a feature available in many programmes when using OSX (you hover over the file name in the title bar and a little arrow appears - you then click and can rename or move the file).
It’s been very useful since introduced, and I only just switched over to LibreOffice and found it’s not there. Is there an extension or preference whereby you can switch it on, or has it been requested as a feature?
