Ca I send or email a document inWord format?
Hello,
LibreOffice Help - Sending Documents as Email.
But I prefer:
- Edit the document using LibreOffice
- Save the document in ODF Format
- Additionally save the document in the proper Microsoft Office format
- Open your email client / application
- Use the “Add attachment” button within your email clients editor module
- Locate and select the file saved in Microsoft Office format in the file picker dialog
- Edit your email text
This procedure works in all environments and with all email clients, while sending from within LibreOffice has many if-then…-conditions (supported email clients, browser based email, platform dependencies, defining default email client).
