Used to do this before. I don’t know why it changed. Was very convenient when saving several documents to the same folder. Thanks
Select Tools - Options - User Data
. Enter your first and last name. Confirm (Ok
). From now on, LibreOffice will remember the cursor location in each document that you start and save. It doesn’t matter if you save one file at a time or many.
I believe the question was about the last used directory in file picker dialog, not a user dependent last cursor position.
On rereading it, I think you have a point.
The open/save dialog of the LibreOffice and the dialog of the operating system has different behavior.
Choose that one what is appropriate for you.
And fill-in the personal data in the settings. There are some differences between the filled and unfilled state.
Thanks, but I’m not very tech savvy. Sorry. Don’t know how to do what you recommend.
Can you upload a screenshot about the open/save dialog of your LibreOffice?
Please give us some details about the environment - like the version of your LibreOffice, the operating system, etc…
