Can I use Base for this

Hi. I run a small business and want to streamline some of my processes a iittle. I would like to create a database that can help me to cost new products, create a production plan and bill of materials.

I have never used Base before but willing to learn.

If Base is the best way to go with this how would I best go about it and can you point me to any decent tutorials please?

Unfortunately based upon you meager description of what is to be done, it is not certain that Base is the answer. More information on what the tasks need to accomplish would help.

Regardless, here is the site for LibreOffice Documentation. It includes all modules. For Base be sure to see Getting Started guides. Also there is a complete Base section and some samples in multiple sections on the post.

Building your on Base Based software will give you exactly what you want. Building such a system may consume (too) much of your time.
You could have a look on open source business software that you can run of a server or on a local server like WAMP or EasyPHP.
