Newbie, considering using LibreOffice. Need an app that works offline. Does LO do this?
It is a traditional program that is installed on your computer and you save files to your computer. If you also install the offered Help (and maybe download the guides if you need more documentation) then you don’t need the internet at all except when you want to update the program, although you can do that with a USB drive if someone posts you the correct update.
I do have to emphasise that you need to save your documents yourself because there is nobody looking over your shoulder to do it for you.
