I frequently print only a selection of cells from a spreadsheet. LibreCalc always reverts back to the option to print the selected sheet. Is there any way I can get it to remember that I have selected to print Selected Cells?

LibreOffice can’t remember what you have once selected and printed. However, you can define Print Ranges using menu Format -> Print Ranges -> Edit.... In addition you can define a named Named Range using menu Sheet -> Named Ranges and Expressions and define the name as designed for [x] Print range by expanding >Range Options:
These named print ranges appear as selectable Print Range under Format -> Print Ranges -> Edit...
These are the means of LibreOffice to deal with re-using print ranges.
