Can not open, save or print files from LO5 in Windows 10

Have a new laptop running Windows 10 and using LibreOffice 5.3.6.1
If I create a new document and go to save it, the dialogue box does not appear to allow me to chose where to save it to. Similarly if I try to print no dialogue box appears. Same if I try to open an existing document from a new one or one I’ve opened in explorer or the initial LO screen.

Have tried re-installing LO.

I’m running LO 5.2.7.2 happily on my Windows 7 laptop.

Are there any settings I can change to make it allow the dialogue boxes to appear?

Sounds weird. But could you first try with 5.3.7, or 5.4, or even 6.0.0 RC1?
