Can not see AFS mounted dir

I’m running Ubuntu 18.04 and libreoffice 6.1 and have since this spring problem with my mounted AFS directories. Everything works fine for all programs except libreoffice. When I try to open any file from the AFS mounted directories I get a permission error. The odd thing is that I have everything up and running fine on a second machine with the same (more or less) installation.

Any ideas what could cause this problem?

Solved - the difference between my machines was that the mal functioning was running libreoffice installed with Snappy. Snappy has a way of connection applications with resources that did not work. I’m sure this is configurable to work but for me the simple solution was to remove the installation and install it again using the command line apt tool.
