Can spreadsheets and documents be separated in the Windows 7 taskbar?

When I have a spreadsheet and Writer document open at the same time, Windows 7 displays them both with the spreadsheet icon. This is confusing, as I go looking for the Writer document and think it’s not open, re-open it, etc. Is there a way to separate the separate apps into separate icons?

I guess that’s technically a solution, but not what I am looking for.

There is no OS option to do this. After searching around online, this seems to be a bug in LibreOffice that has not been fixed.

I think it is an OS option, but I can not remember where to set up.
