Can the sheet bar be moved to a vertical position?

Hi, can the bar at the bottom of the screen that lists the sheets in the current document be moved to a vertical position at the side of the window?

Hde it and use the docked navigator window instead.

Tools>Options>Calc>View>Window>“Sheet tabs”

This will only provide one functionality of the SheetTabs bar: Selection of a single sheet as the active one (by DoubleClick).
In the tabs bar you also can move sheets, copy an existing sheet, select more than one sheet at a time, call a context menu with many relevant options.
The navigtor not even shows the currently active sheet correctly if a change was made by different means (HYPERLINK("#MyOtherSheet") e.g.) (V 7.6.1).
I would only consider to do like @Villeroy suggested if I think to need the reestriction of the functionality for reasons of safety or protection.
