LibreOffice puts endnotes on a separate page, which is one style for endnotes. Another acceptable style is to put them at the end of the document, but not on a separate page. Is there a way to do this in LibreOffice?

Yes, that would be nice is the this topic can be added to LibreOffice Help. I have been searching for this and the topic of adding an endnote separator line to the endnote section if there is no separator line in that section especially on top of Endnote #1, but I could not find it also.
Yes. Select the content of the whole document and go to Insert → Section: in the Footnotes/Endnotes tab select “Collect at the end of section”.
