Can Writer be set to reopen to previous window size, Win 11?

Can a less than full size of the Writer window when first opened be the same as the size when it was last closed? This is useful for computer users having two windows on one screen almost all the time.

If you open Writer from a shortcut, then it open in the same size and position of the last closed Writer window. A second Writer window will open in the same size and position of the second-to-last closed Writer window, etc. This is how Windows handles windows.

You can create a shortcut on the destop to "C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\swriter.exe" or whichever folder you installed LibreOffice to. You can then right click the shortcut and select Pin to Start Menu or Pin to taskbar for more convenient access.
.
If you open Writer by double-clicking a file in Explorer then Writer will open in the same size and position of the last closed Writer window.
.
If you open Writer by clicking the LibreOffice shortcut, The LibreOffice window will open in the same position and size as the last closed LibreOffice document, clicking on Writer from there will open Writer in that window. This is probably what you are experiencing at the moment.
