When a dialog window dislplays, such as Preferences or Save As, the colour of the selectable buttons is Black Text with a Dark Blue background which makes it very difficult to read. My VDU is accumulating nose prints from trying to read the text. Is there any way to set the colours of the buttons? I’ve searched all over the place for over an hour and can find nothing re this.
Should have stated running MacOS High Sierra Beta 7. I have changed the highlighting colour to no avail. Buttons remain Dark Blue. This situation only arises in LibreOffice, not any other app.
I too am a mac user (sierra) and struggle to read these buttons - which make using the software challenging. It’s a simple contrast issue - if the text inside the buttons were white then the dark blue background would be okay, otherwise with black text in the button, we need a light colour background. I think that’s a Libre Office programming issue rather than a mac OS issue - we users have no control over apple. So, Libre Office - please can you rectify the contrast to make buttons readable?
You need to change that at the operating system level.
This changed in the past year or so. Blue colour is now lighter with the text within easily readable now. I don’t think that the colour was tied to the system colour as all the system dialog buttons were much lighter in saturation than the LO buttons.
