Can you write academic papers with LibO?

I was wondering if there is anything like a template for academic writing.

It should cover:

• Basic layout
• Roman and Latin page and chapter numbering
• Examples for Formulas, References, Index entries, Captions and Footnotes
• Blindtexts for paragraph layout

I have seen a lot of questions that deal with single issues of academic writing. I want to share one of the templates I am using, as this may cover several questions at once.

Hopefully, this file will also inspire people and open eyes for the possibilities of this great piece of software.

This template is neither complete nor perfect by any means. It should be seen as a first starter. For any suggestions, feel free to respond.
