cannot open recent writer files note showing error do not exsit appears but file is shown

Think I got a hunch.
You tried to open a file (any module) shown in the start center or when you selected the menu item >>File>Recent Documents. Then you got the massage (a file path) does not exist.
This means that the file you tried to open could not be found under the stored path.
You surely use the file manger of your system. There you can delete a file without telling LibO that you did so. You can also rename a file or move it to a different location.
In these cases the file may still exist as an object in your file system, and you may even know where it’s located now. However, LibO wasn’t informed about your changes, and can’t find that object.
LibO cannot change that.
