I can open, read and edit a doc (letter), but when trying to ‘save’ it back to a Toshiba ext-hard drive I get the message: “Object not accessible - object cannot be accessed due to insufficient user rights” … so my edited doc cannot be re-saved, never had this before! … now using LibOff ver 5.1.5.2 … any idea how I can change all my files to read+write? many thanks … sir mart
Can you save it to an internal drive?
Do you have write permission on the file?
I am not on a Mac and never was, but thought there should be a user space driver fot NTFS usable with OSX. Did you condider NTFS-3G - Wikipedia? If this works I surely would prefer it over reformatting any medium to FAT losing all the advantages of recent (20y+ ?) file systems.
