can't access path to JRE in database

In order to create a database I need to access the path to Java Runtime Environment. I know the path when I look in Finder. In Finder I can show the contents of the file JavaAppletPlugin by right clicking and choosing Show Package Contents, but this in not possible when locating the file in the LibreOffice preferences.

Question solved. I reinstalled LO.

Glad to hear all is OK. However, a re-install was probably not necessary. Just a reset of the user profile.

For the Mac you need to download & install JDK from Oracle.

I installed Java SE Development Kit 8u112. Now, Libre Office base crashes each time I want to use a database.
