I have two Mariadb tables I want use in LO Base. I created the dbase files by saving from LO calc into .dbf format. I opened the Base Create DB wizard and connected to existing db as dbase yes register and opened to edit. The tables are readable with all my data but I can’t do relationships between them. I saw in internet to open new Base Database and copy tables between old and new database. MY PROBLEM now is that the ‘copy’ does not work.
Any Ideas to help?

At moment I’m a bit confused what you actually are doing or not, especially concerning MariaDB/dBase etc.

DBase files don’t support relations and also only limited SQL. So, use other databases for advanced work.

You can connect LO/Base directly to MariaDB.
Often this is a problem of types. It can be useful to copy first to a Calc-sheet, then from Calc to to the other database. Other problems can be existing relations, missing auto index etc. Your simple “does not work” is not enough input to analyse this.

I usually use the context menu of the tables list in Base to copy or paste from or to Calc. In the latter case an assistant
helps with options for import. (And I always create my tables before importing data.)
