Can't create title for Calc document

I’ve opened Insert > Headers & Footers to try creating a header/title on a finished Calc document. When I write the header for either the left or center area and hit OK, nothing happens. The header isn’t added. Does that work only with a blank form or is this not the correct way to title a Calc document? I followed the only instructions I could find online.

Click File > Print preview to see the title.

If you refer to the Calc Guide, download from Documentation - The Document Foundation Wiki, it might be quicker and more accurate than random answers from across the internet. Cheers, Al

Thanks for that. It is there when print is set for portrait mode, but not for landscape which this doc needs for printing. Think I’ll probably just have to make adjustments and put it in the top cells.

Check that you have ticked Same content on left and right pages and Same content on first page
