Can't make images cross the paper-edge in Writer

Hi
I have a mirrored page layout (facing pages).
I need to insert images that crosses the inner edge of the page. In principal it will split the picture in two - one for each page, but when printed as a booklet the picture will stretch over the binding.

Is this possible in Writer?

note that adding bleed is only possible by using an appropriate custom page format that is larger than the cut-paper size.

I don’t think there is ONE command to do the trick.

But you can insert the picture twice on 2 pages, align it to left / right page edge and then crop it to half. One left other right half. Keeping them together make sure to have left half on an even page.
