Hi everyone, I’m using Writer version 6.2.3.2. on OSX Mojave 10.14.4. I added a border to all sides of the page header to see how it would look, when I try to remove it all borders disappear besides the top one…
Under the Borders tab in the page style menu no borders are selected, yet the border remains…
Have tried restarting Libreoffice which hasn’t helped either.
Did you use a different page style for your first page? If yes - you need to change that style too.
@appreciatethehelp you have already asked 191 questions, that’s OK. But you should know so slowly that the minimum information for questions is: Which operating system and LO version do you use? Unfortunately, the specification of your operating system is missing.
Unfortunately, you also do not share with how you have created the frame in the header.
Good answers can only be given if all relevant information is provided by the asker.
So edit your question and fill in the missing information, thanks.
Could you please upload an anonymized version of your file (may be by “lorem ipsum” it; to do so type “lorem” and press F3)? Side 1 and side 2 should be enough.
There are two (in fact three) locations to look at for borders related to a page style.
-
The first one controls the border around the printable area, aka. the page surface minus the margins: this is the
Borders
tab in the page dialog style -
The second one controls the header area (resp. the third one the footer area). You must first go to the
Header
tab and, from there, puch theMore
button. The secondaryBorders
tab allow you to set the specific header border.
