Cant reset font size in more than one cell at a time

I think that it’s a new feature (maybe to avoid CPU or RAM usage). In my screenshot below, initially only B2 and C4 has text. After Select All, and changing font size, only the cell range (B2:C4) between those corner cells get the formatting. [imagen] So if you need to format a range of cells, make sure that at least one cell in the boundary rows and columns has a value. Tested with 7.5.3.2 and 7.6.0.1.

Background

Note that formatting of spreadsheet content exists on multiple levels:

• Character formatting applied to content.
• Direct formatting applied to cells.
• Cell styles applied to cells.
• Default format for the Calc application.

If you paste content copied from somewhere else, the character and cell format properties may carry over. Whether this happens or not depends on the nature of the source. Pasted format properties will, in general, override preconfigured sheet/cell formatting.

Assessment

The following questions may provide hints to what is causing your situation:

• Format operation
  What is the procedure by which you attempted to change the font?
  • Selection
    How did you select the range to change?
    • Did nothing, just assumed working on the full sheet when nothing is selected?
    • Clicked the upper left corner of the sheet?
    • Selected sheet tab?
    • Click/dragged over row/column labels (to left/over the grid) to mark entire rows/columns?
    • Some other way?
  • Application
    How did you apply the format change?
    • Selected new font in the window toolbar/font dropdown list?
    • Right click and selected Format cells … ?
    • Selected a cell style from the styles tool?
    • Some other operation?
• Data entry operation
  How did you input content to your cells?
  • Before or after the format operation?
  • By keyboard entry or copy/paste?
  • Import from other file?
  • Some other method/source?

If you are not helped by this “food for thought”, help us to help you:
Provide us with the detail as indicated by the questions given, and perhaps also a sample file showing what you have got (and explanation of how that sample is not what you wanted).
