Cell format problem

Hi

I cell format problem in Calc. When I enter numbers 1 or 2 or number 13 or higher the numbers appear as they should. Numbers 3 to 12 get changed to say 3-1 or 9-12 etc. When I enter say 15 I can see it starts as 15-1 but changes to 15 as I want it. There is a condition somewhere but where and how do I change it? I only want a number to appear in the cell.

Using Libreoffice version 24.2.7.2 using Linux

Cells above the cell in question are formatted as 3-12 or 4-10 etc.

I have checked Format Cells.

  • In the Format Cells dialog, select the Numbers tab.

  • Ensure the category is set to Number or General, and not a custom format.

Tool Extension Manager.

  • Disable any recently installed extensions to see if they’re causing the issue.

Go to Format > Conditional Formatting > Manage…

  • Ensure there are no rules that could be applying the “22-1”.

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

In the menu Tools, is the option Autoinput checked? Try disabling it and let’s us know if it works better.
