Centre Spacing on Two Colum Document

Hi all, first post here.

Recently migrated from Windows to Linux, and as a result, I’m now using Libre Office. I’m very new to Linux and to LO, so I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with something.

When I create a document in two column mode, the centre space that separates both columns, is non-existent. The text on both columns are touching each other. Is there a way to make adjust the centre so there is a gap between both columns?

Thanks all.

Format - Page Style - Columns

Multi-column layout is configured in the page style used for this part of the document.

Since you’re “very new” to LO, I assume you have a single page style in effect, Default Page Style by default. To access the settings, click on Default Page Style in the center of the bottom status bar.

Go to Columns tab. You can now set the spacing to any value of your taste.

PS: when asking here, always mention OS name (the Linux distro and its version), exact OS release and save format.

Linux, Zorin 18, but not sure what you mean when you ask for save format.
