Why are my file titles changed when I attach them to emails?
“Base” is the database component of LibreOffice. I never experienced a change of the name of the file or of tables.

So some questions: Are you having problems with Base or perhaps Writer?

Wich Version of LibreOffice, wich OS? And: How do you attach the document? Do you use an internal function of LibreOffice like Mailmenge/ send as email, or do you save yourself and attach from your mail-software?

Can you provide a minimal sample document and tell, what you see as behaviour and what you expect like
Txt.odt was attached but is labeled as “Generic report 7321” in Thunderbird, while I expect “what a tangled web we weave” as Tile of Txt.odt.
