I’m trying to start the first page of my document as 9. I want the page number in the Footer. I have tried every solution suggested in Help, Ask Libre Writer, and Google, and none of them puts page 9 in the footer (and continues putting consecutive page numbers in the footer of the succeeding page number). Insert - Page Number gives you 1. Insert-Fields-Page Number gives you 1. Right click first paragraph-Paragraph- Paragraph-Text Flow-Breaks-with Page Style-Page Number 9-OK moves entire text to page 2 without a page number. There were other suggestions and You-Tube videos and so on. And NONE of them work. I cannot understand why it is impossible to get Libre Office Writer to change the page numbering. Apparently you need to force page 9 in the footer and go on to force page 10 on the next page and so on.
