Change the table border (make stronger)

If I the “Tools” menu “customize” the “Format” menu “table” with “border” expand, although the icon appears in the expanded “Format” menu “table” as symbol, but no changes are possible. I wanted to put a stronger edge to the table.

To adjust a table border (make it stronger) do the following:

1. Select the table
2. Go to Table > Table Properties
3. Click the Borders tab at the top of the Table Format dialog and adjust the border width to your liking.
